Michele Ann
Delery passed away peacefully at Providence St. Peter Hospital in Olympia on
January 11, 2007. Michele was 43 years old. She was born in Camden, New Jersey and was raised in
the southwest and southern California. She attended Newbury Park High School
in this California setting and was active in softball and swimming. She was a
student at the University of Texas, El Paso, with a business major. Michele had worked most recently at UCAN, the United
Community Aids Network and had many job titles. The most recent being the
Speaker's Bureau Coordinator. She was active in bringing hope to the
afflicted and educating the innocent in her routine speaking engagements. She
spoke in middle schools, high schools, tribal settings and correctional
facilities. Positive feedbacks from this educational pursuit have been
numerous. Those that survive Michele are her husband, Charles
Delery; her daughter and son, Michele and Tyler; her parents, Hugh and
Shirley Klee; a sister and brother, Joanne Dallas and Michael Klee;
grandmother, Mary Fredericks; and father and mother-in-law, Lyle and Shelia
Delery. Michele was always a presence in the generation of
funding for UCAN, be it Aids walks or the generation of monies and goods for
the clients UCAN serves. Her two children assisted her in the fund raising
arena with remarkable results. This young lady will always be loved by family and
to those she touched in the state of Washington. |
